Velnor is engineered with a "Local First" philosophy. Unlike cloud-based mastering services, Velnor does not require you to upload your audio to a server for processing. All audio analysis and digital signal processing (DSP) occur entirely on your local machine.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your audio files. Your tracks, stems, and finished masters never leave your device unless you manually share them elsewhere. We have no access to your music, your creative metadata, or your artistic output.
Velnor does not require a user account to function. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number within the application. If you contact us for support, we will only use your contact information to assist you with your request.
Payments are handled securely via Stripe. We do not store or process your card information. Stripe provides us with limited transaction data (email address, plan purchased, purchase date) necessary to manage your licence and provide support. This data is processed under contractual necessity and is required to fulfil your purchase.
We also use Resend to deliver transactional emails (download links, support replies). Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use your email address for any other purpose.
Velnor does not currently use any analytics or crash-reporting service. No usage telemetry, session recordings, or diagnostic data are transmitted from the application.
The application periodically checks https://updates.velnor.pro/update.json for the latest engine version. This request contains no personally identifiable information. No machine ID, user ID, or email address is transmitted. Update checks can be disabled by setting the environment variable VELNOR_DISABLE_AUTO_UPDATE=1.
Purchase transaction records (order amount, date, plan) are retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and accounting law. Your email address and name are retained only as long as your licence is active or until you request deletion. Download tokens expire automatically after 24 hours.
